My walmart floral arrangement looks good in my kitchen. I love to decorate with inexpensive things.
Zack is 13 years old now. He is good at cartooning. He often can be found with a comic book he has created himself.

The cub scouts are playing a game of flag football.

Game Time

Austin likes cub scouts. Notice the gravestones behind him. He is playing football at the church. Our church here has a graveyard in the lawn.
Zack broke his arm. He was going on a father son camp out with Austin and dad when they stopped by the church house to meet up with the other kids. Zack was behind the church and tried to jump up and catch a branch of a tree. Unfortunately it was raining and the branch was slippery. He caught the branch with one arm and his feet flipped up then he dropped with all of his weight on his arm, breaking it in three places. We had just moved to the south and we had to rely on the ward members to take Austin while we stayed in the hospital with Zack while he under went surgery. The surgeon placed pins through the skin into the bones to keep them in place. He has since healed completely.
I was one of the first people to sign Zacks cast. He wasn't too happy that I made my name look like a tattoo so he covered my signature with black marker. Black casts are too cool!
Austin loves soccer. He plays it at recess and during the summers.
A game of basketball in the driveway. Austin is up in midair. He shoots!! he scores!!
Zack is teaching Austin some of the basics of ice skating at a local rink.
The boys like ice skating. They have both improved a lot in 2007. Austin is waving hello!
These are the kind of trucks I like. I think this picture is beautiful. Dont you?
Good eatin' isn't hard to find. You never know what there may be off the side of the road in the back of someones truck.
Well there is the proof!! They really call tomatoes maters! Guess what potatoes are? Thats right----Taters!
Somethings just take your breath away. This scene from the Ottari Scout camp is one of them. This is where Zack and his dad went for a whole week. (Summer of 2007) They said the food was terrible and the walk up and down cardiac hill was torture but the memories will last a lifetime.
Target practice at the scout camp got very interesting when the deer wandered through the shooting range! Lucky for the deer it wasn't hunting season. (No deer were harmed in the shooting of this photo)
Here is Zack in class A uniform enjoying a walk down the hill.
John volunteered to go with our teens in the ward on a 50 mile bike trek for the youth. He biked about 20 miles of it and saw beautiful scenery like this.
Here are two of the youth who went on the trip Brittney Burris and Rebbecca Ross.
We went to see the dinner theater show at the Dolly Parton Theater in Myrtle Beach. I think the Stampeding Buffalo were the best part. Austin liked the Ostrich races. We all agreed we could have done without the singing.
This is Austin waiting impatiently for the show to begin. It was a little hot and we were a bit tired but the wait was worth it.
The Bible belt is an interesting place. People don't mind letting others know they believe in Christ. I find it refreshing. Some of the billboards even have Christian messages here.
Zack and Mom relaxing! We like to breath in the ocean air and take in the beauty of the sea.
Zack and Austin love playing in the waves. The sand at the East coast is a lot different from that in Southern California. We think we like the Eastern Sand better.

This is a pic of John holding the umbrella for me at the beach. We had a nice little vacation last summer. We enjoy spending time with the kids in the water.

Happy Monday

Hello friends and family. I learned from a friend here in the south that blogging is a good way to keep in touch and journal at the same time. I am excited to be able to put family photo's online for everyone to see.
